Vito is an associate in the New York office.  His litigation practice includes general liability, premises liability, labor law, and automobile accidents.   Prior to joining the firm, Vito served a term as an Appellate Court Attorney for the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department.  In his role as an ACA, he authored confidential memoranda for the Justices regarding appeals pending before the Court with dispositional recommendations, and edited proposed decisions for substantive accuracy, clarity, and stylistic precision.

Vito holds a Juris Doctor from Pace Law School, having successfully completed its accelerated degree program and graduating magna cum laude with a certificate in International Law.  During his 2 ½ years at Pace Law School, he interned for a semester in the Chambers of the Honorable Lois Bloom, United States  Magistrate Judge  for the Eastern District of New York.  Vito’s extracurricular activities included, among other things, serving as President of the Lambda Law Society; as Executive Productions Editor for the Pace International Law Review, in which his student submission, Oliari and the European Court of Human Rights: Where the Court Failed, was published in 2017; and as a Research Assistant for two professors.

In his spare time, Vito contributes to the monthly publication, LGBT Law Notes, covering international and domestic legal developments concerning the LGBTQ+ community.
