Richard A. Jarolem is a partner in the firm’s Palm Beach Garden’s, Florida office. He focuses his practice in commercial litigation, including professional liability defense in legal and medical cases, business disputes, land use issues, real estate disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, bankruptcy and eminent domain. A courtroom litigator for more than 15 years, Rick has handled matters that cover the spectrum from extremely large and complex issues for corporations and governments (including contract issues, land use issues, election issues and trademark issues) to defending professional malpractice actions for attorneys and eviction actions for the underprivileged. He has carried primary responsibility in representing governmental entities, corporations and individual clients in commercial matters and litigation. In addition, he has handled trial and mediation matters in state court, U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Rick also served as an assistant public defender for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, West Palm Beach, FL.

Rick understands how to balance the needs of his clients in pursuing their claims with a full understanding of the stress and real-world financial obligations that his clients face in every case. Regardless of where a client falls on the spectrum, Rick prides himself on communicating clearly and effectively with them and making sure that each knows they are in control and that Rick works for them. He makes it a point to be available during and after business hours so that clients always have someone they can turn to when issues arise. In the courtroom, Rick is a formidable advocate who makes sure that every one of his clients receives the very best representation.
