Curriculum Vitae

Matthew concentrates his practice on defending professional malpractice claims against attorneys and architects and defending personal injury claims in both federal and state court litigation.  His practice also includes defending first party property claims, UM/UIM claims, and appeals.

Matthew’s personal injury defense experience includes handling automobile accidents, trucking accidents, construction accidents, product liability, and premises liability claims.  He has successfully defended matters involving loss of limb, traumatic brain injury, severe deformity, severe burns, and other catastrophic injuries and has successfully obtained jury verdicts on behalf of various insurance carriers and their insureds.

Matthew was a law Clerk in Essex County, New Jersey in 1996 and practiced for 10 years at a mid-size personal injury defense firm located in Essex County.  In 2002, he completed training with The American Inns of Court Foundation, Arthur T. Vanderbilt American Inn of Court.  Matthew joined the firm’s New Jersey office in 2007. He was named a Super Lawyer in 2008.
