Christian D. McCarthy is an associate in the New York office, defending general liability and professional liability matters including premises liability, construction accidents and medical malpractice. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Mr. McCarthy spent four years working for two prominent medical malpractice defense firms in New York, where he represented hospitals and individual physicians in all stages of medical malpractice litigation, including case development, legal research, fact investigation, motion support, suit evaluation, and trial preparation. Following graduation from law school, Mr. McCarthy also spent time working at a boutique real estate firm in New York, protecting the legal interests of pre-eminent institutional lenders and private investors in various litigation matters.

Mr. McCarthy graduated from Providence College in 2011, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law in 2014. While in law school, Mr. McCarthy was an active participant in various moot court and mock trial competitions, including the Prince Evidence Moot Court Competition, National Trial Competition, Buffalo-Niagara Mock Trial Competition, and the John L. Costello National Criminal Law Trial Advocacy Competition.
